How to reserve a room?
Hotelation's Booking System
When we receive your booking requests, we will contact the hotel and reserve rooms in your name. When the hotel confirms the reservation, we will send you reservation confirmation by email. We do not charge a booking fee and help and advice is free. Hotels normally ask you to settle your account on depature although some may request payment upon arrival.

Please print your confirmation and take it with you when you check in.
Room Availability Enquiries
If you would like to check room availability, please contact us by email. Please let us know hotel names, room types, the number of adults and children and the dates you wish to stay.

We normally respond to you within 2-3 hours if enquiries are made during the UK office hours. For enquiries made outside the UK office hours, we will get back to you within 24 hours.
Making a reservation
When you wish to reserve rooms, please fill in the hotel booking form on our web site. You may alternativly email or fax your request if you prefer.
- When the hotel has exact rooms that you wish to stay in:

We will make a reservation immediately in your name and send you your reservation confirmation slip by email.
- If the hotel does not have exact rooms that you wish to stay in:

We will let you know the situation and suggest alternative rooms or hotels that are close to your requests for you to consider. We normally get back to you in 2-3 hours if requests are made during the UK office hours. For requests made outside the UK office hours, we will get back to you within 24 hours.
Book hotels and B&Bs that are not listed on our web site
We can book hotels and B&Bs that are not listed on our web site. Please email us the name and the address or the telephone number of hotels you wish to stay in. We also need to know your arrival and departure dates and required room types. We will find out room availability and rates and get back to you as soon as possible. If you agree with the rates and the room types we suggest, we will make a reservation for you. We currently charge customers £10-15 for this service.

Sending credit card details
- Hotels usually guarantee your reservations with guests' credit card details. No charges will be made unless you fail to check-in or do not cancel you reservation in time (see the the cancellataion policy details for your hotel). This is a common practice in the UK hotel industry and we cannot reserve a room for you without your credit card details.
- Normally guests are requested settle their accounts on departure.
- Room availability changes every day. Please send your credit card details with your booking requests in order to secure your reservation as soon as possible. We cannot book a room without credit card details.
- Alternatively, you can send your credit card details by fax. We need credit card numbers, expiry date and card holder's name.

- Each hotel has its own cancellation policy. Normally hotels require cancellations at least 2-3 days prior to arrival in order to avoid cancellation charges. Please read the cancellation policy of your hotel before you send us your reservation form. The cancellation policy is found on the booking form linking from each hotel page on our web site.
- If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact Hotelation rather than the hotel. We will cancel your reservation and confirm your cancellation by email.
- If you wish to amend your reservation, please email us or fax us your amendment requests.
- We will try to amend your reservation and inform you the result by email.
- Like cancellations, please amend your reservation as early as possible in order to avoid possible charges.
